Oh this bastard moby. I've been learning/working on this for quite a while. It now starts but isn't ride-able. Currently it won't run at idle and when giving it gas it seems unstable; being super weak one moment and then suddenly some pep comes out of nowhere.

The 1980 Motobecane Moby 50V is a popular model of vintage mopeds made by French company Motobecane. It is a piston port 50cc engine with dual clutches and a variator. One clutch is used to start the moped at low RPM and the other clutch engages at higher RPM to move the variator. The variator allows for a different range of power to be applied.

VIN tag on front definitely says 1979. There are 3 wires going to horn/kill. weird. but if the horn/kill has 3 then def stick to the after 76 wiring diagram. After 76 they had a different style of tank decal and wiring scheme but damn if that doesn't confuse me when the vin states 79 and the tank looks 76 style.
