Tim Atkin: Alión is a pan-Ribera cuvée, with around half of the grapes bought from growers in Anguix, La Aguilera, La Horra, Moradillo, Nava and Padilla and the rest from Vega Sicilia. En esta añada más seca y cálida, se redujo el aporte de la madera en el vino, utilizando un 72% de barrica nueva, un 18% de barrica usada y un 10% de cemento, buscando trabajar la textura del tanino por un lado y la frescura y el recorrido.
